10 Scholarships For Black Students
Many of the black students’ admitted into college and universities, sometimes end up cutting their studies short owing to their inability to pay for their tuition fee. Which is why we have decided to compile a list of scholarships available for black students’. scholarship provides financial support for their education, and supporting their families, most of this scholarship are available for undergraduate degree, post-graduate degree, or even high school students. Most of this scholarship exists to help students finance their Education, most of this scholarship are not repaid.
And most of this scholarship are either given to the school or given to the recipient through check, but in all cases excess will be returned back to you, if the money was paid to the school. After they have covered your tuition fees, and other fees due to the institution.

The African American Scholarship is a type of Scholarship available to descendent of families whose parents came to US from American, and have settled for long. This persons are already citizens of the US, and are among the minority.

In the United States of America, the many historical black universities and colleges across the various states, of which most of this universities provide top notch Education to black students’, the institution with the most black students’ currently is Spelman College, Atlanta, GA, with black students’ making up 97.05% of her population.

This awards up to $5000 to help her students pursue an undergraduate degree or graduate degree. The Soule foundation scholarship is designed to create an experience geared to support, develop and promote the education of young people of color.

This scholarship is sponsored by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), for minority ethnic groups who wish to study a STEM related course. And it serves the following Institutions, Hispanic Serving Institutions, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Tribal Colleges and Universities, Alaskan-Native Serving Institutions, and Native Hawaiian Serving Institutions. It helps this students’ to gain an understanding of the world. Recipients of the scholarship go for an all expenses paid summer internship.

The major aim of this scholarship is to help black students’ offset their bills, this scholarship aims at helping black students’ to take fewer loans, and it awards about $500 to help her students gain Finacial freedom. It is High School Seniors, College Freshmen, College Sophomores, College Junior, College seniors, and Graduate Students.

This scholarship is open to high school graduate, undergraduate, and graduate degree students’, each year about $2,500 is awarded yearly. Special preference is given to undergraduate degree students’ who wish to further their dreams.

This scholarship Is available to minority students’ who wish to be enrolled in a university but have demonstrated a financial need. The scholarship is offered by American psychological foundation. This scholarship value around $4,000. It is awarded to those committed to improving a Community of color.

Frederick Douglass Bicentennial Scholarship Program
This scholarship is available to students with demonstrated Finacial needs, the candidate eligible for this scholarship must have a GPA of 3.5, this scholarship aims at supporting black students’ achieve excellence. It awards $10,000 to two universities students’ yearly.
