The Japanese government MEXT scholarship is fully funded for international and local students who wish to study in Japan, this scholarship has diverse deadlines for different countries, it is available to bachelor’s, Masters and PhD/Doctoral degree students. The bachelor’s degree lasts for a period of 4-5 years, Masters degree lasts for 2-3 years, and PhD 3-4 years.

Japanese MEXT Scholarship Requirement’s
To be eligible for this scholarship you must fulfill the requirements listed below,
- Must be a citizen of a country with diplomatic relationship with Japan
- An applicant whose nationality in Japan is not eligible at the time of application
- Applicants on principle must have been born on or after April, 2 1985.
- Masters students must have completed 16 years of education in countries other than Japan
- Doctoral candidates must have completed 18 years of education in countries other than Japan.
