Following the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) February 28th update on the deadline of Admission, being May 15th for Public Universities and other private institution as June 15th, the University of Ilorin management has again stated its position on the date for the commencement of 2020/21 Admission which has since being deferred over unfinished academic session of the University.
In a statement emerging from the University management, March 22nd 2021, it was reconfirmed that the school 2020/2021 Admission is already in progress (stated differently, the University is undergoing summation of successful applicants which is being uploaded on the Central Admission Processing system; CAPS).
At the same time, the University will not be releasing the Admission list in April, the school confirmed and authentically recapped the information previously released that regardless of JAMB’s deadline, until the ongoing session is ended the school will not begin her admission and the admission in specific will not commence earlier than May/June 2021.
This information is confirmed, reporting with genuine and official confirmation from the University Management.
There would be an official statement from the University prior to the phase of Admission.
Students are therefore urged to keep their fingers crossed while waiting for the phase of admission, there would be no post-utme exam, the school is calculating the aggregate of her candidates with their grades, and this process has since begun whilst shortlisted candidates are recommended for admission directly on CAPS to be effected for acceptance of admission once the school sets to begin releasing the names of successful candidates.
We will keep you continuously carried along on the University Admission process.
